Lower Body Max Effort/ Absolute
Strength Training
(1)One
of any number of variations of Squat, Squat Lift, Dead Lift, and
sometimes adding bands for added intensity, increasing weight up
to a MAX single or double, change exercise every 2nd or 3rd workout;
(2)
Complementary exercise (i.e. Front Squat if (1) is say Rack Dead
Lift) 2X2 or 3X3 with heavy weight. Adequate rest between sets.
During competition season, this may be heavy Yoke or Farmers Walk
for example; and
(3)
Heavy Reverse Hyper Extensions, Ab Rolls, and Side Bends performed
in a circuit fashion, 2 to 3 sets.
